In 2002, recognizing the
growing number of diabetics, Imagine Works, LLC (parent company of
DiabetesSite.Net) President, Darrell L. Weaver decided to take a stand and
create DiabetesSite.Net. A year later several members of his immediate family
would be diagnosed with Type II diabetes.
He determined that this new stand should result in the creation of a new breed
of business, one that was managed not for profitability, but for the benefit of
its clients, fellow diabetics like his family.
DiabetesSite.Net was born
out of the need for a place to turn for supplies, education & support for
both diabetics and those concerned with diabetic care. What made
DiabetesSite.Net different? We believe that diabetes can be controlled
and eventually cured. This belief is driven by our motto, ‘Dedicated to finding
a cure, one purchase at a time.’
